Nicola
MacNaughton is the owner of Occupational Concepts. She earned
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from McGill
University in 1990. She continued her studies, completing a Master
of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie Universityin
2002. Nicola is registered and a member in good standing with
the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the New
Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists.
Nicola has been practicing Occupational Therapy in the field of
work rehabilitation since 1990. Nicola
MacNaughton is one of the first in Canada to achieve the designation
of Certified Disability Management Professional through the International
Disability Management Standards Council. She is an instructor
for the National Institute of Disability Management and Research’s
Return to work Coordinator Certificate Program andcontinues to
consult to the Institute in the area of return to work coordination.
Nicola MacNaughton is licensed to administer and interpret the
consensus Based Disability Managment Audit supported by the International
Disability Management Standards Council. Nicola MacNaughton is available
to offer services in both official languages.

Heather
is a registered and bilingual physiotherapist as well as a 1994
graduate of McGill University's Bachelor of Science program in
Physical Therapy. Heather joined the Occupational Concepts team
in March of 2004. As Clinical Manager, Heather coordinates all
referral requests, scheduling and oversees our quality managment
system.

Laura
Daley joined the Occupational Concepts team in June 2007. Laura
graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Kinesiology) from
University of New Brunswick-Fredericton in May 2004. She continued
her studies at Dalhousie University and graduated with a Bachelor
of Science degree (Occupational Therapy) in May 2007. Laura is
a key team member in the delivery of work rehabilitation services
that includes job analysis, return to work programming, functional
capacity evaluations and injury prevention training. Laura is
a certified functional capacity evaluator, recognized by Matheson
& Associates.

Jill
joined the Occupational Concepts team in August 2006. Jill is
a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with both
the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists and the
Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Jill completed
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology prior to completion of
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie
University in 2000. She brings with her six years of clinical
experience working in Occupational Therapy in the Mental Health
field during which she was responsible for functional and cognitive
assessments, program development/implementation and discharge
planning. In addition, Jill has experience with in home assessments
and facilitation of functional independence through specialized
equipment both in the public and private sector. Currently Jill’s
primary role is with return to work coordination, functional capacity
evaluations, job analysis, and home assessment. Jill is a certified
functional capacity evaluator, recognized by Matheson & Associates.
Renée

Renée
Frenette is our certified kinesiologist registered with the New
Brunswick Kinesiology Association (NBKA). Renée joined
the Occupational Concepts team in January 2000. Her foundation
training in the study of human movement along with Matheson Functional
Evaluation and Ergonomic Training enables Renée to perform
quality Functional Capacity Evaluations, Ergonomic Assessments
and Job Analyses.
When not completing
evaluation services, Renée can be found in the training
room instructing employees and employers how to handle manual
materials, analyze a workstation or maintain a healthy and safe
lifestyle. Renée is available to offer services in both
official languages.

Ghislaine joined the Occupational Concepts team in January 2008. Ghislaine graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Occupational Therapy) from Laval University in 2007. Ghislaine is set to play an integral role in the delivery of work rehabilitation services that includes job analysis, return to work programming, functional capacity evaluations and injury prevention training. Ghislaine is available to offer services in both official languages.

Cindy
joined the Occupational Concepts team in November 2005. She was
specifically hired to fulfill the lead role in the technical coordination
of the Work Hardening Program. Cindy graduated in May 1996 with
a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick.
She then furthered her studies at Sheridan College where she obtained
a Sports Injury Management Diploma followed by her National Certification
as a Certified Athletic Therapist. Cindy brings to the team her
six years of clinical experience where she was responsible for
Functional Capacity Evaluations, job analysis, work conditioning
and work rehabilitation. Cindy is available to offer bilingual
service.

Paul
joined Occupational Concepts in January 2002 after spending 13
Years in the Manufacturing sector as a Quality Assurance Manager.
With a background in Management Development and Mechanical Engineering
Technology. Paul's role includes finical managment as well as
ensuring proper documentation control. Paul also puts to use his
technical skills in assisting the therapist in the selection and
design of custom equipment to facilitate client's safe return
to work.

Chantale
joined the Occupational Concepts team in January 2007. Chantale
provides administrative support for all staff. She welcomes clients
to our facility and makes sure that the needs of our referral
sources and clients are met on a daily basis. Chantale is available
to offer bilingual service.

Marjorie
joined Occupational Concepts in May 2000. She brings to the team
her knowledge of accurate accounts and receivable tracking. In
the past Marj has been instrumental in the implementation of our
referral tracking system and administrative processes.

Natalie
Wheaton graduated from Université de Moncton in 1998 with a Bachelor
Degree in Kinesiology. She furthered her studies at the Université
of Laval in 2001, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational
Therapy. Since 2001 Natalie has gained expertise in the delivery
of work rehabilitation services that includes the facilitation
of return to work programming, functional capacity evaluation
and injury prevention training.
She is registered and a member in good standing with the Canadian
Association of Occupational Therapists and the New Brunswick Association
of Occupational Therapists. Natalie joined the Occupational Concepts
team in February 2008. She has completed her Matheson Functional
Capacity Evaluation training and Matheson Critical Thinking Skills
training. She is available to offer services in both official
languages.
