One
Day Versus Two Day Functional Evaluations
Any
Functional Evaluation represents a comprehensive profile of the
referred client's functional capacity. A one day evaluation enables
the evaluator to comment further on the client's workday tolerances.
The two day evaluation enables comparison testing that is not
possible during a one day protocol.
Determinant
factors for selecting a two-day evaluation:
- Does
the client report abilities to perform activities one day but
is in bed the next?
-
Does the client report excessive fatigue that may make it difficult
to complete the entire protocol in one day?
-
Are vocational training decisions being made on the file?
